Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Speech and Language Pathology, located at the newly renovated, state-of-the art health sciences campus in Johnson City, New York, invites applications for a Clinical Instructor Position in the developing Division of Speech and Language Pathology Program. This is a twelve-month position. Binghamton University offers competitive salary and benefit packages. The successful candidate will be creative and collaborative and will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention with children or adults, supervising graduate students, and teaching coursework. The ideal candidate will have dual certification in audiology and hold the AUD.

Job Requirements:

Candidates will have the Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP and be eligible for, or hold, a New York state license. A senior level candidate will have more than five years of experience working clinically with children with a variety of communication disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology preferred.

  • Be eligible or hold a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in New York.

  • The candidate will possess a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Clinical Doctorate in Audiology preferred.

  • Experience in supervising graduate students in clinical settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a University setting.

  • Significant experience working in a preschool or K-12 school setting.
