The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Renewables Electrical Engineer. The Engineer acts as a project lead on wind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. They are a technical leader and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures on complex projects.

What You'll Do

Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of assigned project work. Makes design recommendations, adaptations and modifications for utility scale Wind and BESS medium voltage collection system plans, equipment elevations, and details and other drawings and studies associated with the design. Performs calculations using engineering formulas and skills. Mentors and provides technical guidance to other engineers.

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required
• PE or P.Eng. license preferred
• 5+ years of engineering experience preferred
• Ability to perform AC & DC studies using electrical modelling software
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), and industry standards a plus
• Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Must be analytical, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a High-paced environment while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $93,500 - $126,500
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
