Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our team. You will be responsible for attaching tanks to a scanner to check for cracks or soft spots, determining if tanks need to be rejected for scrap, painting tanks, checking valves and stems for defects, cleaning tanks for filling with propane, loading tanks onto the production line for filling, and palletizing tanks for outgoing shipment. This role involves lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Attach tanks to a scanner to check for cracks or soft spots.

• Determine if tanks are good or need to be rejected for scrap.

• Paint tanks.

• Check valves and stems for defects.

• Clean tanks for filling with propane.

• Load tanks onto the production line for filling.

• Palletize tanks for outgoing shipment.

• Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.

• Experience in production.

• Ability to use hand tools.

• Packing experience.

• 6 months+ of working in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the workday.

• Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift.

Work Environment

This position is in an open warehouse environment that is heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. Uniforms will be provided once you become a direct hire. Steel-toed shoes or boots are required. The attire includes jeans and a t-shirt, with some areas requiring a long-sleeve shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, Montana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
