THE JOB
The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting with the evaluation and execution of a broad range of strategic and financial initiatives for the Live Nation Concerts Corporate Development and Strategy team. This position is part of a small team that will be highly visible to senior leadership and key business leaders.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Collaborate with senior team members to assist in developing and preparing business plans for the U.S. Concert division to support and evaluate new business opportunities.
Support the identification and initial analysis of potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities within the music and live entertainment space, including concert promoters, festivals, and related companies.
Assist in building and maintaining financial and valuation models under the guidance of senior analysts; analyses may include basic IRR, discounted cash flow, and comparable company evaluations.
Help create presentation materials for senior management to support strategic discussions, with close supervision and input from the executive team.
Work closely with senior team members to assist in the review of key deal terms and legal documents, such as term sheets and letters of intent, providing organizational and research support.
Support due diligence processes by gathering and organizing relevant financial and business data from internal departments and external parties.
Contribute to post-acquisition activities by assisting in tracking integration milestones and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives with JV partners.
Perform ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses, as assigned, with an emphasis on developing skills and understanding of company best practices.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or similar quantitative field
2-3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in investment banking, private equity and/or corporate development
Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to formulate and articulate viewpoints in a clear, succinct manner
Detail-oriented, organized and able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong personal interest and passion for the music and live entertainment industry

The expected compensation for this position is:
$92,000.00 USD - $115,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
