Job Summary:

BUSINESS ANALYST (LIVEANALYTICS) INTERN

Location: Remote in the US

Division: Ticketmaster NA – Global Sales Operations

Line Manager: Manager, Analytics

Internship Terms: 9-Month Term commencing May 2025 working up to 29 hours per week

THE TEAM

Ticketmaster’s Global Sales Operations group strives to be the partner of choice for our clients. Our mission is partner with markets to empower clients with business solutions that drive and align their commercial growth with Ticketmaster. We do this through a variety of services, including, product marketing, B2B marketing, sales enablement, commercial strategy and services, and more. We advocate for our clients across the product lifecycle, building our B2B narrative across strategic priorities, from strategic planning to launch and adoption. This team serves as the glue between across sales, product, & lines of business all in service of clients.

The LiveAnalytics team is a market leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients. Some examples our product suite include prospecting models, brand affinity models, venue-selection models, season ticket retention models, pricing models and economic impact studies. The list goes on and there are more requests every day.

THE INTERNSHIP

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Analytics Intern to join our team and lead us into the next phase of efficiency and innovation in the categories of Analysis, Automation, Insights, and Data Visualization. As we advance towards a more global footprint and work with hundreds of clients each month, the opportunity for someone to identify our gaps and solve for better practices is greatly needed.

THROUGHOUT YOUR TIME WITH US YOU WILL

  • Gain hands-on experience working on real projects and interacting with clients.

  • Learn to analyse data, create presentations, and deliver insights to internal clients.

  • Develop strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.

  • Enhance your storytelling skills using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SQL, and Amazon Quicksight.

  • Build your analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Participate in internal client meetings and presentations, and gain exposure to different industries and sectors.

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals and learn about the latest trends and best practices in client communications and analytics.

  • Work with lead analysts and business stakeholders to gather inputs across various business and analytical sources.

  • Assist in data visualization, creating presentations, and delivering insights to clients

  • Extract, clean, and analyse demographic, behavioural, and transactional data.

  • Develop reports and present insights that help clients improve operations and revenue.

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Amazon Quicksight.

  • Assist in conducting market research and benchmarking for the sports and live event industry.

  • Collaborate with consultants to translate data into business recommendations.

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and contribute to ongoing client projects.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

YOU WILL PROBABLY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU

  • Are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Analytics or Business Intelligence or a related field and that requires participation in a co-op/internship placement as part of the curriculum to graduate.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.

  • Basic proficiency in using Data Visualization software(s) and Microsoft Office Suite products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Experience with market research, data analysis, or client management is a plus!

The expected compensation for this position is:

$16.50 USD - $18.00 USD Hourly

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
