Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prescription Management:

• Collect and verify prescription information from customers or healthcare professionals.

• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Medication Preparation:

• Measure and package medications for dispensing.

• Label products appropriately, including any necessary cautionary labels.

• Inventory Control:

• Participate in periodic inventory checks.

• Alert pharmacists about medication shortages or supply issues.

• Customer Service:

• :Assist customers with inquiries

• provide guidance under the supervision of a pharmacist.

• Compliance:

• Comply with all safety and health regulations

• Follow all pharmacy regulations and standards set by the State Board of Pharmacy.

What do you need?

• 6+ months experience as a pharmacy technician

• Closed-door pharmacy experience is a huge plus

• CPhT or PTCB is a huge plus

• Understanding of medical terminology

• Ability to identify medications

Work Environment

Closed-door pharmacy environment with a focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care clients. NON-RETAIL pharmacy environment.

Shifts Available (due to change with hiring needs)

(2) 7a-3:30p, (2) 10p-6:30a, (1) 6a-2:30p, (1) 4p-12:30a
