The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Material Test Technician to support On-Site Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) efforts in Northern, VA / MD and is 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:

Provide test and evaluation support for Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and/or Eddy Current Testing.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A high school diploma or GED.

  • Certificate(s) in nondestructive testing.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

  • Ability to read and understand test and evaluation requirements and experience with MS Office suite of products.

  • Eager to learn, self-starter.

Desired:

  • Degree in engineering or related experience in non-destructive testing.

  • 5 + years of experience doing Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and/or Eddy Current Testing.

  • Familiarity with Material Science and Materials inspections on various metals, polymers, and composites.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Experience working on a government or DoD site.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$60,100 - $123,300
