Naval Medical Command INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & FACILITIES SPECIALIST in Bethesda, Maryland
Summary You will serve as an INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & FACILITIES SPECIALIST in the NAV Dosimetry Center Bethesda, Administration division of NAV DOSIMETRY CENTER BETHESDA. Responsibilities You will serve as a central point of contact and exchange of information for personnel of supply organizations relative to material support problems. You will plan for and determine current and future supply requirements to meet customer needs. You will receive equipment, supplies and material ordered by and consigned to the Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC). You will complete at a minimum an annual wall-to-wall inventory of all equipment at NDC and at a minimum a 10% monthly inventory. You will make change of location to equipment records and completes/processes transfer, loan, and disposal paperwork. You will maintain complete and current records of non-expendable property in the DMLSS system. You will work with NSA-Bethesda’s facility management department to resolve issues related to repairs to properties occupied by command. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of supply principles and concepts and independently performing recurring assignments; 2) Locating and applying applicable reference materials to specific problems; 3) Implementing principles of property management and facility maintenance; 4) Using computers and computer programs to establish and maintain on-going programs for equipment accountability; and 5) Utilizing mathematics, grammar, spelling, and punctuation to analyze purchase order terminology, write letters and memos, and email messages as required.
