Eaton Corporation Senior Customer Account Manager in Bethel, Connecticut

Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Senior Customer Account Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $78750.0 - $115500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts. Coordinate across functional disciplines to achieve order requirements. Manage internal performance against customer requirements in accordance with contract obligations, terms and conditions. Ensure timely and effective customer communications internally and externally to fulfill contract obligations meeting quality, cost, and on-time delivery expectations. Develop and maintain relationships that foster additional growth opportunities and strengthen customer loyalty.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A. Function as the primary focal point of contact for assigned customer-related inquiries and represent the voice of the customer within the facility.

B. Perform contract review of all orders for customer requirements to ensure Order Administration is processing orders per negotiated requirements including exporting requirements. Assures compliance with all export control regulations-ITAR and coordinates with Global Trade Management (GTM) as required.

C. Accountable for ensuring orders are received into the ERP system and/or other support databases. Accountable for ensuring demand alignment.

D. May perform Order Administration, as required.

E. Accountable for ensuring that the customer’s supplier web-based purchasing systems’ requirements are being fulfilled. Interface with Order Administration to ensure customer requirements are met and completed. Interface with customer to mitigate exceptions to meeting customer requirements.

F. Provide continuous feedback to the customer on order status throughout the production cycle by providing proactive communication with the customer in anticipation of customers’ needs.

G. Prepare quotations and long-term agreements for legacy business.

H. Network with internal teams and coordinate activities such as Aged Part Reviews, Order Specification Reviews and Recovery Plans to achieve customer commitments.

I. Assess market channel delivery options (direct or through distribution) through pre-defined criteria.

J. Support in negotiating contract pricing, delivery, administrative requirements and conditions ensuring compliance with Eaton’s policies, terms and conditions from proposal through shipment.

K. Manage Customer Metrics - Customer Complaint Process and keeps customer database updated with all activities and maintains all records for account responsibility.

L. Assess current practices for continuous process improvements and supports continuous improvements meetings and events.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 5 years of experience interfacing with customers.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the

meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Bethel, CT will be considered.

Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience as a customer service account manager

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

Basic knowledge of FAA requirements for repair and PMA purchases, basic knowledge of CAS/TINA requirements, and basic knowledge of D-Trade requirements preferred

• Aerospace experience a plus.

• Manufacturing experience a plus.
