Work Location:This position will be based at our Bethany, MO location.
Hours: 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotation
Job Purpose:Assists the Finance Department to develop and maintain reliable accounting information on income, expenses, assets, liabilities and capital as a basis for management planning and decision making, and for fulfilling financial report requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with daily operations.
- Reconcile general ledger, analyze financial accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Coordinate corporate account activities, including review of accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Perform day to day accounting activities, including accrual based accounting, cost management, cash-flow analysis and financial project reviews.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies to help streamline financial institution accounting procedures.
- Provide regular reports to management of all online accounting activities for the financial institutions Finance department.
- Provide administrative assistance in other areas of the financial institution, including retail banking, bookkeeping, lending, and customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
- One to two years of accounting and finance experience, preferred.
- Good analytical, written and oral communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- AbilitytosafelyandsuccessfullyperformtheessentialjobfunctionsconsistentwiththeADA,FMLAandother federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
