Job Overview

The US Retirement Manager is responsible for administering and managing TE’s US qualified and non-qualified defined contribution and defined benefits plans. This role offers professional growth and progression for the right candidate.

The role of the US Retirement Manager is to provide ongoing administration for the TE 401(k) plan, executive deferred compensation plan, and pension plans, as well as partner with the Director Total Rewards in the development and implementation of US Retirement governance initiatives and strategic projects. The US Retirement Manager will collaborate with our external administration teams as well as other internal and external partners such as Communications, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Finance and Treasury. The team member will manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, requiring strong time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing general 401(k), executive deferred compensation plan and pension plan support to internal HR Business Partners, Recruiting and Onboarding teams, and networking groups

• Vendor management, including issue resolution and assisting with vendor file interface process

• Leading the due diligence and integration of 401(k) and/or retirement plans in mergers and acquisition/divestiture initiatives

• Responding to participant feedback and resolving escalated employee and vendor issues

• Review and processing of legal documents submitted to the retirement plans (i.e. Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, Power of Attorneys, estate paperwork, etc.)

• Project managing benefit plan audits and the preparation and submission of Form 5500s, pension valuations, nondiscrimination testing, annual fee disclosures, annual funding notices, and other compliance related matters

• Identification and implementation of process improvements related to the retirement plans

• Developing strategic retirement plan communications

• Evaluation and ongoing support related to the documentation of the plans including summary plan descriptions, plan documents, annual retirement plan financial statements, and participant statements

• Maintaining US retirement plan process document inventory and administration manual

• Directing Payroll on any executive deferred compensation plan and legacy retirement plan payments as well as any corrections of 401(k) plan contributions

Berwyn, PA is preferred, but any US state will be given equal consideration

What your background should look like:

• Have received a BA/BS Degree in, Human Resources or Finance from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.

  • Excel skills

  • 401k/Pension plan experience

  • Compliance and strategy.

  • Experience with deferred compensation plans and legacy plans.

• 6 -7 years of experience in Total Rewards and/or Retirement expertise

• Sponsorship nor relocation will be offered

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,720-184,080 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
