Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for final inspection between layout, fitted welds, and final assembly before shipping out to customers.

Duties also include:

  • Thorough inspection, measurement for dimensional requirements, hole placement, and dimensional inspection of hole placement and overall dimensions, squareness, flatness, etc., using appropriate tools.

  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Monitor layout dimensions and verify location, monitor fit up of pieces for proper location using measuring equipment prior to welding.

  • Assist in training production staff for quality control standards.

  • Measure and perform visual inspection of weldments for final acceptance.

  • Maintain accurate details inspection records.
