Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the general maintenance of shop equipment, fleet vehicles, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, the ability to diagnose emergency repairs, and perform routine inspections. Pay will be between $32 and $37 with room to grow.
Responsibilities
Responsible for general maintenance of all shop equipment, including fabrication equipment and overhead crane system
Perform and/or oversee routine inspections to ensure proper function
Perform/oversee and maintain records of routine preventative maintenance
Diagnose and perform emergency repairs and/or coordinate repairs
Schedule and appropriately communicate planned machine shutdowns
Responsible for general maintenance of all fleet vehicles, including yard vehicles
Perform and/or oversee routine inspections to ensure proper function of vehicles
Perform/oversee and maintain records of routine preventative maintenance
Diagnose and perform emergency repairs and/or coordinate repairs
Schedule and appropriately communicate planned fleet maintenance
Ensure state inspections are current
Responsible for general building systems maintenance, including HVAC and electrical systems
Perform and/or oversee routine inspections to ensure proper function
Perform/oversee and maintain records of routine preventative maintenance
Serve as the main point of contact with outside vendors for systems and utility repairs/maintenance
Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, including landscaping and snow removal
Essential Skills
Maintenance experience
Ability to diagnose emergency repairs
Perform inspections
Ability to read, comprehend, and work from technical documents, blueprints, and electrical schematics
Proficiency in using repair tools and equipment
Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, and welding projects for minor repairs
Capability to perform general repairs and/or preventative maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles
Skilled in basic carpentry and painting methods
Comfortable using technology in a paperless environment, including administrative and production-related software programs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, r, construction, industrial maintenance technician, electrical, and mechanical fields

Work Environment
You will report directly to the construction site every day and work on-site from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for longer days depending on the job. The role involves working in the shop every day.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
