VCA Delmarva Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team Berlin, Maryland.

Our hospital has 3 wonderful doctors and 15 amazing support staff. We offer services like cold laser therapy and ultrasound! We have a phenomenal team that stops at nothing to help every patient and client. Our ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with animals and their owners and want to be part of a fun, interactive team. Good communication skills and the ability to handle a steady patient load while maintaining a good sense of humor are encouraged. Our strong mentorship capabilities and nurturing team approach will help anyone interested in succeeding to provide a positive impact on the overall quality of life for pets.
We are open 6 days-a-week, Monday–Saturday, with our doctors working full-time 4 days each week, rotating Saturdays.
Our hospital is located in America’s Coolest Small Town , Berlin, Maryland. We’re located about 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Assateague where you can spend time hiking, sightseeing, and crossing paths with wild ponies, and the endless activities providing Ocean City. The town of Berlin is a quaint, diverse community that offers shopping, restaurants, and plenty of monthly events to keep everyone entertained and involved. Our county, Worcester (pronounced like “Worshter”) has the highest-rated schools and offers an amazing education for Grades K-12. We are about 20-30 minutes from two major colleges, Salisbury University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. “The Shore”, as locals call it, provides activities like boating, surfing, beach fun, sky diving, hiking, and even ghost tours at many different haunted sites. Only about 2 hours to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Virginia Beach and there is a small airport in Salisbury, Maryland about 20 minutes from Berlin.

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
