Job Description

A telecommunications company is looking for a SQL Data Analyst to join their team. This resource will need to report on-site for onboarding and then will need to report on-site once a quarter with the rest of the team. There are various office locations across Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The SQL Data Analyst will be responsible primarily for data mining and translate raw data from the various databases for the construction department. This resource will be joining a team of Construction Project Coordinators, and will be working on all of the construction data. The goal is to change and improve the way employees are getting their data, and by using SQL it will enable the Project Coordinators to better leverage and understand existing data to enhance the work they are doing. The SQL Data Analyst will enable management to further visualize construction related data by mining raw data and utilizing Tableau or PowerBI to share this data with management and executives for comparison to the data being shown at the line level from existing tools. All data is currently stored in Salesforce, and they have been running into limitations so they are moving all data into a SQL database. This resource will be the only SQL dedicated resource within this group, so they must be a self-starter and have exemplary communication skills.
