We have a job opportunity available for a Warehouse Supervisor located at the Berkeley, MO. We offer internal promotion opportunities and a competitive wage.

Supervisory Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an efficient warehouse operation to fulfill operational and customer demand.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

  • Manage, and evaluate warehouse personnel for optimum performance.

  • Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Safety and Environmental procedures, and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times.

  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures.

  • Facilitate movement of the workforce as needed to achieve the warehouse daily goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Successful management experience including but not limited to: leadership and motivational ability, time management and organizational skills, training, coaching, and counseling.

  • Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices.

  • High level of professional integrity.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

  • 5+ years in warehousing and personnel management.

  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.

  • High attention to details.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.

  • Associate’s degree or higher. A high school diploma or equivalent may be substituted with four years of relevant experience.

  • Language Ability:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  • Math Ability:

  • Ability to understand and analyze financial operations, profit and loss statements, customer invoices, and other mathematical functions necessary to managing the airport operation.

  • Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Computer Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Online Timekeeping, and Outlook, sufficient to write letters, organize schedules, and perform other tasks related to payroll and operations.

  • Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid State Driver’s License with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct or indirect supervision of all on-site PrimeFlight personnel.
