The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Sr. Java Full Stack Developer w/AWS to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build brand new, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our Cards & Payments platform.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough code reviews and optimizing application performance.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 for the backend.
• Create dynamic and responsive web applications using React JS.
• Integrate Restful APIs to connect front-end and back-end components seamlessly.
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage application infrastructure efficiently.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks to incorporate into the development process.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing user support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Restful APIs, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of the Cards & Payments domain is essential.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $106000K - $118000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
