Job Title: Mechanical Test Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on individual to join our world-class team as a Mechanical Test Technician, with a focus on building our test equipment! This is a fantastic opportunity to help us develop our core technology by processing battery pack tests for large-scale experimental cell builds. In this role, you will work as a part of our Test Operations’ test team and coordinate directly with our Infrastructure team to build test stands for truly grid-scale batteries. Your familiarity with established norms around electromechanical builds will enable you to smoothly execute and improve our technical development. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to sharpen their technical skills and lend their experience to directly impact the development of breakthrough technology.

This is a fully on-site position in Berkeley, California.

Work Environment

Morning meeting at 9 AM - in general, the team works 10 hours a day with 1 or 2 hours of overtime. The shift involves hands-on assembly and fabrication, specifically working with PVC piping.
