Job Title: Junior Network Administrator

Must have own transportation as this is a multi-site location.

We're looking for an industrious and capable Junior Network Administrator who can work efficiently both individually and as part of a team. Your primary role will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues, mainly at the server room and switch closet, improving system performances, and ensuring smooth operations at our various sites.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as the primary contact for IT-related matters at assigned locations

• Make use of command line troubleshooting to resolve network issues

• Understand and navigate IT infrastructure

• Handle, transport, and deploy equipment like UPS batteries

• Familiarity with the OSI model, specifically Layers 1 and 2

• Identify and respond to network outages and service ticket issues

• Provide networking for both data and voice, ensuring proper operation

• Diagnose and address issues with DNS servers and ping failures

  Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling WAN and LAN configurations

• Proficient in working with Windows, Cisco switches, routers, and Meraki cloud-managed access points

• Understanding of Windows Active Directory and domain controller

• Strong understanding and use of the command line for networking purposes

• Physical capacity to lift up to 40 lbs and work with hardware tools like drills and screwdrivers

• While not mandatory, typical IT Support knowledge would be an advantage
