My Assistant is Walmart's generative AI powered assistant for associates, providing a unified, personalized, and trusted way to access Walmart knowledge, data, and actions. The My Assistant team builds experiences that serve Walmart's 2.1M associates across Walmart US, Sam's Club, Walmart International and Campus. Ultimately, our aim is to create a virtual assistant for the world's largest workforce to help 255M people a week save money and live better.

What You'll Do...

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - My Assistant Experiences to help drive the next evolution of our AI-powered virtual assistant, My Assistant, within the People Product organization at Walmart. Your mission is to simplify the associate experience with generative AI and offer best-in-class experiences to Walmart associates around the globe in offices, stores, clubs, and beyond. Your focus will be on the end-to-end experience for our users who need to leverage My Assistant to accomplish their work.

You will lead the vision and strategy for My Assistant Experiences, including agents, entry points, and digital experience leveraged by associates in 11 countries. Examples of the opportunities you might tackle include building new agents to meet customer demands, launching marketing campaigns to incentivize growth and adoption, and extending our capabilities to include consumer-grade GenAI features. The scope and impact of this role is significant. What You Will Do:

  • Deeply understand associate needs and industry innovation to drive the product vision and strategy for My Assistant, maximizing business and user impact.

  • Develop and drive the product roadmap for the My Assistant Experience, aligning with company goals and user needs.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build AI-powered features and improvements, leveraging your technical background to drive the power of GenAI across Walmart.

  • Partner closely with senior management and stakeholders to define and align on vision, strategy, and roadmaps, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations.

  • Foster a metrics-driven environment that encourages quality experimentation and sets high standards for measuring product success.

  • Stay informed about industry advancements , conduct comprehensive buy vs. build analysis, and influence their direction to align with state-of-the-art solutions, encouraging ROI-based decisions.

  • Create continuous feedback loops with Walmart associates and development teams to ensure we solve the right problems and drive maximum impact.

  • Exhibit robust problem-solving and decision-making skills , tackling technical and strategic challenges in innovative ways and leveraging data and intuition to make strategic choices in the face of ambiguity and complexity.

  • Ensure thoughtful product evolution that addresses the product lifecycle and adoption experience.

  • Help evolve our engagement model, communication strategy, prioritization, and planning/road-mapping practices to enhance the overall associate experience with My Assistant.

What We're Looking For:

  • 9+ years' experience as a product manager

  • Masters/Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

  • Track record of creating strategic roadmap, deployment of robust and scalable AI/ML/Data Science solutions and products

  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Strong background with AI/ML technologies and conversational experiences.

  • GenAI product development experience is preferred.

  • Data-driven decision-making skills

  • Customer obsession and the ability to develop solutions that delight them

  • Comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions

  • Experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences

  • Experience in process design

  • Comfortable with engaging with various stakeholders of varying levels across multiple domains

  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

  • Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
