About the Team:

Global Procurement is responsible for sourcing of goods and services not for resale (GNFR). This responsibility spans end-to-end procurement; from collaborating with our business partners and developing requirements to negotiating with suppliers to deliver best in class supplier partnerships. Global Procurement adds value through ensuring quality and service levels are met, negotiating savings, driving innovation, adhering to compliance, and focusing on supplier diversity and sustainability. Procurement is responsible for the selection of suppliers and their overall performance on behalf of the business teams we support.

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Director to lead our procurement team in driving cost savings, improving supply chain efficiency, and enhancing the overall profitability of the organization. The successful candidate will possess exceptional negotiation, contract management, vendor management, category strategy, sourcing selection, and financial acumen skills. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to quickly grasp concepts, make connections, and display resilience, emotional maturity, and stability to effectively manage conflicts and difficult situations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives to increase spend undermanagement.

  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to achieve procurement objectives and deliver results.

  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions, maximize cost savings, and minimize risks.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure reliable supply of goods and services, and to identify new opportunities for cost savings and innovation.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new trends, technologies, and suppliers that can improve the procurement process and reduce costs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, supply chain, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure procurement initiatives align with business objectives and are executed effectively.

  • Develop and manage procurement initiatives and provide regular reporting to senior management on procurement performance and cost savings.

  • Lead and influence others to adopt best practices, new technologies, and process improvements that drive procurement excellence.

  • Display courage and willingness to take calculated risks to drive innovation and improvement in the procurement process.

  • Rapidly get up to speed when facing new challenges and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

  • Lead teams through change, broaden skills, and identify new opportunities for growth and development.

  • Display comfort in taking charge and being the center of attention, and desire to move upward into leadership positions with greater responsibility.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Contracting: The ability to develop and lead contract negotiations with vendors, while collaborating with the business stakeholders and legal team.

  • Build Effective RFP's/eAuction: Modeling historic and real time market data to identify the right suppliers to support our company objectives. Engaging Stakeholders: Identify and meet with both internal and external teams to drive value and deliver savings.

  • Building strategic Sourcing Strategies: Maximize relationships with new and existing suppliers, understanding, and evaluating their products and capabilities and negotiating advantageous rates. Build internal partnerships and support our company goals.

  • Interpreting Spend Analysis: The ability to read, analyze and tell the story from data and spend to build a TCO model.

  • Operating with excellence : Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

You will sweep us off our feet if ...

  • You have a certification in Project Management

  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, improving supply chain efficiency, and enhancing profitability through procurement initiatives.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to manage complex negotiations and draft and review contracts.

  • Excellent category strategy and sourcing selection skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and innovation.

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on procurement performance and cost savings.

  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team of procurement professionals.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with external partners.

  • Ability to think strategically, grasp concepts quickly, and make connections between seemingly unrelated ideas.

  • Display resilience, emotional maturity, and stability to effectively manage conflicts and difficult situations.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
