What you'll do...

Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, Consumer Protection Compliance U.S.

Join Walmart's U.S. Consumer Protection Compliance team as a Senior Manager focusing on scale, pricing and packaging compliance. As a critical team member, you will be responsible for building trust with our customers by helping to shape, enhance, and implement controls designed to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations, including Section 5 of the FTC Act and state unfair and deceptive acts and practice (UDAP) laws, state weights and measures laws, and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act. This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with legal, policy and business stakeholders as well as other areas within compliance to implement programs that minimize regulatory risk around pricing, scales and packaging.

Based in Bentonville, AR-no remote or hybrid exceptions.

What you'll do:

• Effectively collaborating with operations, merchandising, legal and other compliance partners to establish best in class compliance programs and controls for pricing, scales and packaging.

• Working with stores, vendors and regulators to identify and address potential program gaps.

• Developing and maintaining program documentation.

• Working with product and technology teams to implement automated controls.

• Developing training and awareness content to further compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Coordinating efforts to understand emerging regulatory risks and developing guidance and processes with relevant stakeholders to mitigate identified risks.

• Escalating concerns based on risk to the company and recommending a plan of action for resolution and risk mitigation

What you'll bring:

• You have experience working in compliance and/or acting as a subject matter expert in federal or state consumer protection law, including weights and measures laws.

• You demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.

• You have experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment and establishing collaborative relationships with business, legal, and compliance partners.

• You are action-oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead change.

• You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• You are a problem-solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
