Walmart Senior Director, Talent Management in Bentonville, Arkansas
Position Summary...
Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Management within the Global Talent & Learning (GTL) CoE, the Senior Director of Performance & Talent Planning will be accountable for developing and driving a multi-year, global enterprise-wide performance and talent planning strategy that is aligned with our People and enterprise objectives. This leader will be tasked with transforming our performance and talent planning strategy and offerings with the aim of strengthening a high-performance culture and building leadership bench across the organization. Specifically, this leader will be responsible for connecting philosophy and practices across performance and talent planning (performance vs. potential), offering end-to-end insight on key talent across the organization, as well as digitizing our performance and talent planning processes into a seamless experience for leaders and associates across the enterprise. This individual will collaborate closely with the rest of the GTL CoE, Chief People Officers and their teams, Product and Technology, as well as the business to align strategies.

What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Director of Performance & Talent Planning is expected to:
Be responsible and accountable for designing an integrated performance and talent planning strategy across our business segments, delivering initiatives that help to reinforce a high-performing culture and to build strong leadership bench across the organization
Partner closely with the Chief Talent Officer, Chief People Officers, and their teams to prepare for EC Talent Reviews, Board Meetings, and other executive forums where key talent is discussed
Design cohesive leader and associate experience of talent practices via digital app-based experience – inclusive of annual Performance cycle, career conversations, development plans, talent ratings and succession planning connected to individuals’ talent profiles
Partner closely with segment Chief People Officers and their teams to ensure that they are equipped and prepared for key milestones and meetings (Talent Reviews, Performance calibration, etc.) and advise on maximizing impact withing their respective segments
Partner with other leaders on Talent Management team to help 360 surveys and other developmental assessments as follow-up actions from Talent Reviews
Be accountable for driving talent KPIs across the organization, including % of high potentials on/with succession slates, completion of development plans
The Person
The Senior Director of Performance and Talent Planning will possess:
Ten to fifteen years of experience in a Talent Management or Talent Strategy role, designing and delivering solutions for first-time leaders through executive levels, preferably within a complex, global environment
Strategic talent acumen as it relates to driving high performance, and identifying and accelerating employee growth
A proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with a senior management team, building trusting and effective relationships with leaders across the enterprise
Experience managing and developing a team, implementing programs that attract and develop talent and organizational capabilities
Demonstrate commitment to advancing a culture of belonging
Openness to leveraging data and technology to shape and deliver effective talent strategies

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09430:The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
