About the Role

At Spark Trust & Safety, our mission is to build the safest and fairest platform for customers and drivers to operate on. We are seeking an Organized Fraud Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for applying deep experience in the Risk & Fraud space and a strong analytical skillset to lead cross-functional initiatives detecting, mitigating, and preventing organized fraud on our delivery platform. What you'll do

  • Develop and implement end-to-end fraud mitigation strategies and roadmaps to minimize the impact of organized identity, account sharing, and bot fraud on our platform.

  • Collaborate closely with Product & Engineering teams to design and implement effective solutions to detect and prevent organized fraud activity.

  • Oversee a team of fraud analysts dedicated to managing and resolving organized fraud cases.

  • Develop and streamline processes for investigating fraud cases, ensuring prompt and effective action is taken in response to detected fraudulent activities.

  • Own and monitor key fraud metrics to measure the effectiveness of fraud mitigation solutions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, fraud patterns, and technologies, and leverage this knowledge to enhance organized fraud prevention strategy.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Developing solutions to make the Spark Driver platform a safer place for customers, associates, and drivers by removing organized criminal and identity theft groups from the platform.

  • Developing solutions to make the Spark Driver platform a fairer place for drivers by preventing users of unauthorized third-party software from obtaining advantages over the average driver.

  • Helping ensure the Spark Driver platform remains one step ahead of emerging trends and threats.

  • Promoting team culture by engaging in activities that support company values, culture, diversity, learning and development

You'll sweep us off your feet if:

  • You have experience in Operations, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or Continuous Process Improvement.

  • You have experience in Fraud and/or Risk Management in the E-Commerce, On-Demand, or Last Mile industries.

  • You have a deep knowledge of the gig driver industry, including fraudulent trends and behaviors.

  • Y ou have s trong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.

  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams.

  • You can influence, manage, and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders

  • You can work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Fraud or Risk Management.

  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years of experience in an Operations, Project Management, or related position OR 4 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, or related area.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
