Assortment Analytics Manager

In the Manager, Assortment Analytics role, you will be the omni-assortment advisor to Merchants and have input into category space initiatives by leveraging your customer-centric mindset to analyze Walmart's vast dataset to deliver actionable insights, while partnering closely with leaders across merchandising, product, and engineering teams.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Serve as the number one advocate for our omni-customers by gaining a deep understanding of purchase behavior and market insights, and provide important input to omni assortment decisions

  • Assess current omni assortment performance, identify gaps, and recommend changes across all sales channels

  • Recommend category assortment changes to reflect Merchant strategy & insights

  • Assess the financial impact of proposed assortment / channel changes

  • Provide input into category space strategy and space allocation for special projects

  • Recommend sales channel (1P, 3P, DSV) for all new items or changes to existing items

  • Forecast new item expected volume and GMV, including sales allocation by channel (buy in store, digital - pickup, digital - shipped)

  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands

  • You have experience in category management

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years' experience in retail, replenishment, supplier sales, finance, or related area OR 4 years' experience in retail, replenishment, supplier sales, finance, or related area.
