Accenture Airline Industry Consulting Manager/Senior Manager in Bentonville, Arkansas

You Are:

A Manager or Senior Manager to join our Travel/Airline Practice within Accenture. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of airline operations, data, and analytics to lead and deliver transformative projects for our clients. You will collaborate closely with airline executives and operational teams, driving impactful decisions that improve efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Client Engagements: Lead strategic and operational projects focused on enhancing airline operations through the use of data and analytics, leveraging Accenture’s cutting-edge technology and methodologies.

  • Develop Operational Strategies: Guide clients in optimizing key areas of airline operations including network planning, fleet management, crew scheduling, maintenance, customer experience, and revenue management, with a focus on driving efficiency and profitability.

  • Leverage Data & Analytics: Drive the implementation of data-driven decision-making by working with data scientists, engineers, and airline leadership to unlock insights from operational data, customer feedback, and external industry trends.

  • Innovation & Transformation: Champion the digital transformation journey for airlines by recommending innovative technologies such as AI, machine learning, IoT, and blockchain to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

  • Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and mentor a diverse team of consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of client projects, while ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded.

  • Business Development: Play a key role in developing new business opportunities within the airline industry by building relationships with senior executives, contributing to proposals, and positioning Accenture as a thought leader in airline operations and analytics.

  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices related to airline operations, digital transformation, and data analytics. Contribute to Accenture's intellectual capital, client thought leadership, and industry recognition.

Travel up to 75% as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the consulting industry or equivalent in an internal consulting role

  • Minimum 8 years of experience years of experience in the airline industry leading complex, data-driven projects with a focus on airline operations (flight planning, maintenance operations, crew management, revenue management, and customer service) and data analytics.

  • A Bachelor’s degree

Professional skill requirement:

  • Data & Analytics Proficiency: Experience in leveraging data and analytics tools to drive decision-making and operational improvements. Familiarity with AI/ML, predictive analytics, and advanced data visualization is a plus.

  • Project Management: Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects, managing large teams, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality results. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

  • Consulting Experience: Experience working in a consulting environment, managing client relationships, and leading engagements. Experience in business development and proposal generation is highly desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to mentor and develop teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
