Aerotek is hiring for Material Handlers

Description:

Primary duties are to load, unload, process and store waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility.

-Will be operating a forklift and Bob Cat with attachments as well as brooms, shovels, production machines, palletizers, tractor, work off a ladder/stairs.

-Will use Department of Transportation (DOT) knowledge to match and label inbound materials and for storage and shipping of containers to other sites. This will include using an RF scanner as non hazardous material is processed from holding area to holding area.

-Utilize barcode system equipment(RT Scanner) as non hazardous material gets processed from holding area to holding area, also for documentation to keep track of all material that comes in and goes out.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.

• Must be open to extreme working conditions (Heat, Cold, Dirty Job, Labor intensive).

• Working around non-hazardous material environments

• Occasionally Operating smaller equipment/forklifts, yard dogs

Pay: $17/hr
