Job Title: Waterjet Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our team. The position requires operating a waterjet to process high-quality products and utilizing CAD to refine customer preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics. The shift for this role is from 6 PM to 3 AM, Monday through Friday, with training on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate OMAX waterjet to process high-quality products.

• Use CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer’s preliminary drawings and diagrams to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished products.

• Read job specifications to determine and maintain machine adjustments and material requirements.

• Work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.

• Continually measure workpiece dimensions to ensure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.

• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Essential Skills

• Experience with waterjet operation.

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

• Strong math skills including fractions and decimals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Minimum 18 years of age.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
