Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Network Engineer in the Financial Services industry, located in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. The Sr. Network Engineer will be instrumental in leading the implementation and deployment of new locations, equipment, and technologies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to system maintenance, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in implementing and deploying new locations, equipment, and technologies within the network system.

• Proactively monitor network performance and utilization, providing recommendations for improvement, upgrades, and expansion.

• Conduct site and equipment audits at branch locations and secondary data centers as necessary.

• Review, audit, and remediate network devices to ensure compliance with security standards.

• Keep network equipment updated with latest software patches and firmware updates to ensure reliability, performance, and security.

• Create, revise, and update departmental procedures and run-books as required.

• Support teams across the business with their day-to-day tasks.

• Analyze and diagnose network problems, documenting root causes, providing remediation recommendations, and performing corrective actions.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors for problem escalation and resolution.

• Develop a working knowledge of the business side of the organization and effectively interface with all user groups.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening of network security systems.

• Document and diagram current and future expansion of systems and network through thoughtful analysis and review.

• Provide any required support on various hardware as needed in conjunction with various groups.

• Ensure timely completion of daily tasks, short term, and long-term projects. Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is essential.

• Experience with Checkpoint is required.

• Familiarity with Cisco ASA is necessary.

• Proficient in handling Cisco Routers.

• Proficient in using Cisco Technologies.

• Knowledge of AB Testing is important.

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required.

• Experience in Configuration Management is necessary.

• Familiarity with Datacenter operations is required.

• Experience in Deployments is necessary.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
