Construction Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a expert-level estimator with experience in drywall estimation or wood/metal framing estimation. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in estimation and be proficient with on-screen takeoff software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed estimates for construction projects.

• Manage construction submittals and documentation.

• Utilize project management tools such as Procore and QuickBid.

• Estimate costs for drywall, wood, and metal framing.

• Handle purchasing and proposal preparation.

• Ensure accurate construction documentation.

Essential Skills

• 10-15 years of experience in construction estimation.

• Proficiency with on-screen takeoff software.

• Experience with drywall and wood framing estimation.

• Strong project management skills.

• Knowledge of Procore and QuickBid software.

• Ability to manage submittals and construction documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction.

• Familiarity with panelization and finishing.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment

• This is an in-office position, working five days a week under the VP of Estimating.

• The company specializes in a variety of commercial and residential projects, including hospitals, office buildings, restaurants, single-family homes, and multi-story condominiums.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
