Element Materials Technology Program Manager in Bend, Oregon

Overview

Element has an opening for a Program Manager at our Bend, OR facility. The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to providing customer support and operational support for the execution of Extractable and Leachable (E&L) studies. The Program Manager will work closely with clients and internal staff to develop and design their E&L programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with customers and communicate with the customers during a study life-cycle

  • Participate in operational/commercial team activities and goals

  • Prepare a review study quotations and proposals

  • Develop and design E&L studies, communicate designs internally and externally

  • Coordinate the execution of studies with laboratory personnel and assess and maintain capacity

  • Prepare and review protocols, and reports

  • Actively pursue continuous improvement, extractable and leachable continuing education

Skills / Qualifications

  • B.S. in chemistry or related field

  • Experience in Program or Project Management

  • Experience with extractable/leachable studies is preferred

  • Strong teamwork mindset and proven leadership skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization; strong written, oral and presentation skills

  • Ability to have difficult conversations with customers, management, and other team members
