About the job

We are currently seeking a Lab Technician to provide general laboratory support for Chemists, Scientists and Engineers in the Research and Development and Quality Control laboratory areas of the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Cleans laboratory glassware, disposes of waste and maintains equipment in both laboratories

• Performs basic instrument verifications of balances, pH meter, pipettes, cleaning and maintenance

• Helps support lab inventory systems of general laboratory supplies and arranges ordering .

• Helps with stability pulls and control of samples and standards in and out of the lab.

• Prepares dissolution media, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) mobile phases, and other routine laboratory tasks

• Supports lab efficiencies as appropriate for type of work (e.g. by preparing solutions or kits as needed)

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1 year of laboratory experience preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Effective written and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
