POSITION PURPOSE: Within the context of Central Willamette\'s Statement on Sales Culture; provide ethical professional, friendly, quality service to our members. Provide guidance and counseling to members regarding business services. Underwrite business loans, making sound decisions for both the Credit Union and members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Loan Processing and Credit Analysis (30%) Interview, consult, accept, analyze credit of, and perform credit reviews of potential borrowers. Negotiate credit terms, prepare credit analysis, and develop repayment plans for approval. Prepare Business Loan Documents and files as needed, ensuring technical accuracy. Review applications and other incoming documentation for completeness and signatures. Prepare loan-closing documents as needed and coordinate loan closing information. Portfolio Development and Relationship Management (20%) Develop, maintain, and grow the commercial loan portfolio. Promote business services programs by working with borrowers. Work with commercial borrowers during early delinquency phases to maintain portfolio health. Compliance and Documentation (15%) Ensure timely and thorough monitoring of business loans through periodic reviews, ongoing analysis, and proper documentation. Apply knowledge of legal entities and documentation requirements to determine loan eligibility and completeness. Review rates, terms, and amounts to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies. Reporting and Feedback (10%) Provide regular ongoing feedback to the AVP Real Estate/Business Services regarding department activities, status, and needs. Prepare correspondence, reports, and maintain spreadsheets as directed. Make recommendations to the AVP regarding programs, policies, or procedural changes. Departmental Oversight (10%) Provide daily oversight of the Department to ensure smooth operations. Cooperate and work with co-workers as a team member. Knowledge Maintenance and Compliance (10%) Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Credit Union products and services. Attend training and comply with CWCU policies, procedures, and applicable State and Federal regulations. Perform all responsibilities in alignment with CW Values and Information Protection requirements. Other Duties (5%) EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or demonstrated experience required. Minimum experience required 2 years in underwriting commercial loans; however 5 years is preferred.
