URGENTLY HIRING for Entry Level Mold Operators

Location: Hackettstown, NJ Shift: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Pay: $18 - $20.50 (Depending on Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mold Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and start up heated molding presses to mold and cure our products. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and production standards are met, performing minor adjustments on presses, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate and start up heated molding presses to mold and cure products.

• Spray inner surfaces of molds and mandrels with lubricant, as required.

• Assemble and pre-heat components and mandrels prior to inserting into press, when required.

• Mold switchgear diaphragms in accordance with SOPs.

• Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect the interior of work pieces as needed.

• Remove flash from mold; trim work pieces.

• Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle; remove mandrels from work pieces.

• Have first pieces inspected for cosmetics, no-bond, bubbles, etc.

• Maintain quality and production standards.

• Run tandem operation when scheduled.

• Make minor adjustments on presses, such as pressure and temperature.

• Follow job SOPs; complete and record production records.

• Keep machine and work area clean.

• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma.

• Basic Math

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary
