MERRILL ELEMENTARY School Counselor - Aldrich Middle in BELOIT, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess the following qualifications: Strong behavior management skills Strong knowledge of RTI and PBIS processes Ability to design and implement effective interventions for students, including consulting with and training of staff on monitoring fidelity of implementation Experience conducting small group and individual counseling Ability to coordinate FBA & BIP processes, including writing plans as needed Experience collaborating with school improvement teams Knowledge of and ability to analyze and present data at district, building and student levels Working knowledge of special education evaluation practices and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work positively and productively as an active team member Experience working with diverse learners and support culturally responsive practices ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A School Counselor is needed for Aldrich Middle School. This is a full-time/permanent position based on a 192 Day Professional Educator Contract. Candidates must have a Master\'s degree and hold or be able to obtain a Wisconsin licensure for School Counselor #7054. Minority and bilingual speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Salary offers are based on education/experience. Coaching positions are available. Start date: August 23, 2024.
