TEKsystems POS Implementation Specialist/PC Technician in Beloit, Wisconsin

Job Description: POS Implementation Specialist/PC Technician

Project Overview: Join our ambitious Big ERP Project, aimed at transforming the operational infrastructure of 700 branches nationwide. Our current system is based on an outdated AS400 platform, and we are in the process of transitioning to a modern Windows-based system. This project promises a significant enhancement in efficiency, with an expected 50% increase in output.

Pilot Project: The role will commence with a pilot project starting next month, running through December, involving 13 branches. The successful candidate will be instrumental in learning and refining the build process through direct calls with branches and hands-on configuration tasks.

Main Rollout: In January, the project will escalate to include the first wave of 70 branches. Responsibilities will include following detailed documentation for building machines, preparing for deployment (Go Live Project), and providing support to branch locations throughout this critical phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot PC-related issues effectively.

  • Adhere strictly to provided instructions while also being proactive in learning new processes.

  • Play a pivotal role in establishing build processes from the ground up.

  • Identify any gaps within existing procedures and contribute valuable insights for improvement.

  • Retain important information and adapt to evolving project needs as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in PC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to follow complex instructions accurately.

  • Keen learner with an aptitude for understanding technical build processes.

  • Experience or interest in identifying procedural gaps and optimizing workflows.

  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.

We are seeking candidates who are not just looking for another job but are eager to contribute meaningfully to a large-scale project that will shape the future operations of our company.
