Health Room Assistant (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: South Central, WI

Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Elementary School: Monday to Thursday

  • Alternative High School: Friday

  • Pay Rate: $30/hour

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Health Room Assistant. This role involves providing essential health services to students, ensuring their well-being, and supporting the school community.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid and emergency care to students and staff.

  • Assist with health screenings and maintain health records.

  • Monitor and manage student medications.

  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student health concerns.

  • Support the school nurse with daily health room operations.

  • Promote a healthy and safe school environment.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology.
