Robert Half is working with a large corporation looking for a Lobby Receptionist to support a return to office for several of their buildings. Client provides an exciting work culture accompanies with perks and benefits while on assignment. Your job will serve as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors entering a large corporate office. This individual will play a vital role in creating a professional and welcoming environment, facilitating communication, and maintaining efficient front-desk operations. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:Front Desk Operations:
Greet and direct visitors, vendors, and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival in the corporate lobby.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized reception area conducive to the company's professional image.
Administrative Support:
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate transfers to appropriate parties.
Manage and distribute mail and packages, including coordinating with delivery services as necessary.
Maintain visitor logs and issue temporary access badges as needed, ensuring compliance with company security procedures.
Schedule and coordinate reception desk coverage during breaks, lunches, or absences.
Client and Visitor Relations:
Assist visitors with wayfinding and provide accurate information about the company, its departments, and office locations.
Coordinate with security and facility management to ensure seamless visitor experiences.
Technology and System Use:
Use scheduling systems to manage conference rooms, meetings, and client appointments.
Monitor and report any technical or facility-related issues in the lobby area.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or hospitality training is a plus.
Proven experience in a reception, front desk, or administrative support role, preferably in a large company setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service focus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office technology (e.g., phone systems, visitor management platforms).
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently in a high-traffic environment.
