Insight Global Sr Portfolio Manager in Bellevue, Washington

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their PMO team in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. This team manages the CBE (Current Best Estimate) for the entire IT organization. This role works with the business, and tech driver teams to understand where things are at, remove roadblocks, and oversee everything from quarter and annual planning, and solves tradeoff conversations. This person needs to be a technology generalist as this team supports all lines of business. They should be able to present and speak with business leaders, and identify redundancies. This person should be proactive and work well in ambiguous environments. This team works with the business when they have an idea, and ensures the delivery - and then hands off to the PMO once it's in development.

Responsibilities:

 Develop program scopes and objectives, partnering with internal architects, dev leads and other stakeholders.

 Lead several workstreams from requirement identification to deployment.

 Identify and manage risks

 Monitoring progress across different workstreams

 Communicate changes across different workstreams

 Report project progress/outcomes to ensure transparency across different workstreams

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of project/program management experience in Software Development-type work implementing large/complex functionalities

Solid understanding of Project Management Framework and Scrum / Agile framework

Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architecture, and technical standards.

Experience with stakeholder management, and presenting to high level executives, and experience creating communication decks for these types of meetings

Experience with program risk management, identifying dependencies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effectively and eloquently communicate with senior leadership level as well as with technical teams.

Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional business and technical teams

Strong ability to effectively hold other people accountable on delivering the work on time (persuasive/strong influencing skills)

Strong business acumen Experience with Adobe, or Amdocs Billing

JIRA Software and Confluence experience null
