Responsibilities

• Provide functionality and reliability support for critical site components by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health, including through performance tuning and troubleshooting.

``` - Create, manage, and integrate software to automate and secure public cloud environments.

``` - Develop solutions that can support large capacity and scale reliability in a 24/7 environment.

``` - Collaborate with the Information Security operational teams to support monitoring capabilities.

``` - Monitor the system and respond to incidents to maintain system SLO/SLA, and review and follow up production incidents.  

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

• Designing web applications with Java, Go, and Python programming languages;

``` - Performing Linux administration, including monitoring performance, debugging issues, monitoring network behavior, and designing and troubleshooting networked applications using: OS networking protocol stack and OS concepts, including virtualization, containerization, and memory management;

``` - Designing scalable and high available software systems for cloud environments;

``` - Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects; and

``` - Building automation tools and scripts.
