Sales Associate Position Summary: The main function of a sales associate is to sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups of individuals. A typical sales associate is responsible for making buyers and purchasing agents interested in their merchandise, demonstrating their products, and explaining how those products could benefit the customer, by reducing costs and/or increasing sales. The main function of a sales manager direct the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. A typical sales manager coordinates sales distribution and analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements. Responsibilities: Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences. Work independently to add value to clients Amazon Sales Team through a variety of responsibilities, including data analysis, report creation, and effective communication. Create accurate and insightful sales performance reports utilizing different data sources. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth. Create compelling sales presentations (slides) and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct a daily audit of Product Detail Pages and report issues related to policy compliance, loss of buy box, 3P sellers, and PDP content health. Independently leading various requests, initiatives, and projects requiring a high degree of organization and effective communication across multiple departments and functions. Support Sales Account Managers in various tasks and processes, including forecasting, reporting, and internal/external communication. Interface with multiple internal teams, including marketing, sales operations, finance, and business intelligence, and assist in increasing efficiencies and functionality in the sales process. Maintain internal sales and account management documents (promotions roadmaps, promotion submission templates, promotion agreements, marketing planner, sales and insights reporting, etc.). Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Proven professional experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Requirements: Ability to work from clients in Bellevue, WA office at least four days a week 5-7 years of relevant business experience Bachelor's degree preferred Proven professional experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask, problem-solve and prioritize Ability to utilize technology in creating workplace and process efficiencies Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Excellent communication (written and oral) and relational skills Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
