Amazon Program Manager II, Canada Transportation in Bellevue, Washington

Description

The Amazon Canada Network is looking for a Program Manager to join our Canada Transportation Carrier Management Team. Program Manager will lead and execute cross-functional supply chain, operations, and transportation initiatives in Canada. This role is focused on delivering production plans for for outbound network in the Canada market. The role will cover sourcing inputs, validation for quality, application of overlays to generate volume plans, and establishing alignment with execution teams. The role requires close collaboration with demand forecasting, transportation management, and network design teams to improve customer experience, optimize cost, and build resiliency in the execution plans. The candidate is expected to show strong analytical skills, ability to create business proposals, drive decisions with stakeholders, and them in production.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create and run supply chain programs and drive continuous improvement in operating metrics

  • Manage risks, perform cadence driven and ad-hoc deep dives, and establish course corrections

  • Create production plans, and scenarios for decision making process and establish decision with network leaders

  • Create dashboards/metrics to track KPIs

  • Create new tools and business process that improve the performance of network operations

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
