Amazon Principal Technical Product Manager, On-Road Special Programs, Transporter Experience On-Road in Bellevue, Washington

Description

The Transporter Experience team within the Delivery Technology Organization provides delivery personnel with best-in-class technical solutions, enabling them to perform at the highest level. We obsess over the transporter's quality of day, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in their work, which flows through to our customers.

The Transporter Experience (TransporterX) team owns, defines, and operationalizes products and programs to support a global fleet. We own a complementary set of delivery modalities, including smart phone applications, in-vehicle console displays, and supplementary support devices. We index on customer obsession and technical excellence and take pride in our metric and sentiment-driven approach.

We are seeking a seasoned technical product manager to own the secure delivery, doorstep service, and transporter sentiment product portfolio. In this role you will partner with strong technical leaders to drive a long-term vision along these three verticals, ensuring transporters feel supported, appreciated, and able to successfully execute all tasks safely and efficiently. You will also serve as an integral partner to teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

The right candidate will possess a strong product management background with demonstrated experience leading large, ground-up products. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. As a principal technical product manager (PM-T), you will lead high-impact projects, anticipate bottlenecks, manage your roadmap, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is essential. Maturity, high judgment, empathy, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
