Amazon Principal Product Manager, Speed Innovation in Bellevue, Washington

Amazon's Delivery Experience (DEX) team is looking for an innovative Principal Product Manager to lead our initiative in revolutionizing product delivery speeds across Europe. This role is pivotal in driving Amazon's growth strategy, with a focus on enhancing our delivery services for millions of customers.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing new customer experiences across Amazon platforms, craft the strategy for where and when we will expand, partner with Operations and Tech teams, and own a program with L10 and S-team visibility. This role requires a leader who can balance customer needs, operational feasibility, and business growth objectives. You'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of e-commerce delivery, directly impacting millions of customers and contributing to Amazon's continued market leadership.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive the vision and requirements for a new strategic initiative, building the business from the ground up

  • Ability to think big and understanding the feasibility of rolling out new customer experiences across Europe, considering operational, financial, PR, and legal implications.

  • Launch and execute a large-scale program, partnering with Operations, Technology, Business Analytics, Design, and other Amazon teams

  • Partner with finance team to build P&L for new delivery models

  • Develop and refine pricing structures

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
