We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Communications Manager to drive our strategy for communicating T-Mobile's diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to employees. You will own enterprise-wide communications that amplify our DE&I strategy, thought leadership, engagement and learning programs, and storytelling, with a focus on connecting, empowering and mobilizing employees to fuel our inclusive culture. They will quarterback communications development, act as the subject matter authority, set content strategy and narrative, and partner closely with senior leaders to develop and implement an internal communications strategy that reflects T-Mobile's ongoing and deep dedication to DE&I. We're looking for someone who can dig in and drive action quickly, someone who is collaborative and creative, a critical problem solver, and knows how to get others on board. * This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, Washington or Overland Park, Kansas* Job Responsibilities: Lead the employee narrative for T-Mobile's DE&I strategy and efforts - including promotion of our cultural recognition moments, DE&I learning programs, inclusive business practices, community impact and digital equity efforts, and assisting with social crises response. Be responsible for the DE&I content strategy including ongoing executive thought leadership and a quarterly newsletter to help build employee connection, awareness, engagement and education in DE&I initiatives and topics. Work closely with DE&I subject matter experts to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging. Create unifying and purposeful campaigns that foster a sense of belonging and empower employees to be active allies in our DE&I journey. Team with key partners across communications and other large internal organizations to create a roadmap of initiatives that reinforce T-Mobile's inclusive culture, drive engagement in DE&I programs, and further our mission to inspire change in our industry and communities. Write and edit short and long-form highly visible content, including emails, talking points, articles, and scripts, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative that aligns to audience needs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, video producers and other partners to deliver high-quality, engaging content and materials. Drive idea generation to support various audience reach and new channel development. Create a standardized process for measuring and communicating results; adjusting strategy as needed. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in internal communications and/or developing & driving complex communication plans in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate environment. Prior experience and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, including but not limited to communications strategy, ERG leadership, program management and deep understanding of the external landscape. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, PR, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience. Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to adjust tone and style by audience. Strong project management skills to lead/oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
