We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Corporate Counsel, Data Management to oversee enterprise-wide data management programs and help ensure compliance with a broad variety of data management and security commitments. A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with experts What you'll do in your role. Develop, enhance and administer data security compliance programs through partnership and collaboration with business clients and other legal specialists. Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on data minimization and security practices. Identify and assess potential legal risks related to data management and develop strategies to mitigate them, to the extent applicable. The experience you'll bring. While the quality and accomplishments of a person's career will be the determining factor, the finalist must have the following requisite qualifications: A law degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar Legally authorized to work in the United States JD with at least three (3) years of experience A solution-oriented attitude, a bias for action, the sophistication to interact with client teams at all levels, and a deep curiosity that drives you to dive into and help solve complex issues. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will also have some or all of the following: Experience with data and/or cybersecurity related regulations Passion for mitigating risk in the ever-evolving worlds of ISPs, network technology, telecommunications and IT infrastructures Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and guide solutions Appetite for innovation and aptitude for creative problem-solving Deep curiosity with a drive to understand the business goals and product details to drive informed decision-making Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong people and motivational skil
