Robert Half Bookkeeper in Bellevue, Washington

Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This role focuses on maintaining and reconciling financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, credit card transactions, and general ledgers. The successful candidate will play an integral role in our financial operations, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and monitoring cash flow.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile checking accounts

• Handle Accounts Payable tasks such as entering bills in QuickBooks

• Manage Accounts Receivable duties including creating and sending client invoices, receiving payments, and preparing daily deposits

• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts

• Process credit card transactions and perform monthly reconciliations

• Carry out reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

• Execute monthly closing procedures

• Undertake job costing accounting

• Assist with the year-end preparation of financial statements

• Work directly with the Controller to prepare quarterly financials for meetings

• Manage bill payments and sending checks to vendors.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000.

Requirements • Proven experience in a bookkeeping role is essential

• Excellent knowledge and experience in account reconciliation

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience in bank reconciliations

• Strong skills in bookkeeping and data entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Experience with month end close procedures

• Experience in managing payroll

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable

• Familiarity with general ledger management

• Experience in handling daily bank deposits

• Ability to perform credit card reconciliation

• Knowledge of job cost and year end closings is preferred

• Experience with bill pay is desirable

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information.
