Chewy Associate Director, Product Manager - Chewy Vet Care in Bellevue, Washington

As part of this mission, we are hiring for two roles; AD, Product Manager – Chewy Vet Care (People Leader) and AD Product Manager – Checkout/Payments Experience (Individual Contributor) in our Bellevue, WA | Boston, MA or Plantation, FL offices to help us build a suite of services that enable payments/checkout experience for the software package we use in CVC practices, Rhapsody. The initial focus of this work is to provide a low friction checkout experience for pet parents and our CVC care team, but the role will also be owning work across our PIMS product more broadly overtime. A rare opportunity to get in from the beginning of a team that seeks to reinvent how care is delivered in the pet health industry, and work in a dynamic and innovative team.

You will be responsible and own the building out a roadmap, getting alignment with partners, running intake and prioritizing dev work. In addition, the roles responsible for ensuring the features are delivered as planned, monitoring to KPIs, and trends from metrics for optimization and continuous improvement.

As an Associate Director (AD) for our Rhapsody PIMS product, you will work cross-functionally across Product, Design, Technology, Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations, and Executive leadership teams to create, build, and implement a product vision and multi-year roadmap to complement the growth of our new Chewy Vet Care business.

Our opportunity:

  • Use your customer focused approach to drive PIMS experience for both care team members and pet parents.

  • Serve as the primary contact for Checkout in Rhapsody and CVC.

  • Be the guide in the use cases and users/customer types that use Rhapsody’s checkout.

  • Write requirements and use cases with partners.

  • Envision and explore the feasibility of new insights that will be impactful to pet parents or care team in checkout.

  • Define and analyze measures of success (critical metrics) for new features and improvements; transform these customer and business insights into clear requirements for product enhancements and new features.

  • Write compelling narratives outlining both short and long-term product visions

  • Partner with payments team to align with them on back-end functionalities your work is making pitches in the UI.

  • Develop and maintain a roadmap and prioritized product backlog ensuring product vision aligns with both customer first goals.

  • Build mechanisms to progress and deliverables related to product/feature suite you own across all tech and non-tech tracks

  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks to project deliverables and timelines

  • Performance of your product(s) and measure impact of product improvements; communicate impact clearly across the organization and used to drive prioritization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal (and external) teams to deliver features with strong customer first value

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management or equivalent.

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.

  • Track record of successful direct people leadership experience.

  • Direct experience working with EMR, PIMS or health information management tech.

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, deliver and scale products or services that deliver measurable customer & business benefit.

  • Delivering projects from start to finish, both through a team and as individual contributor.

  • Comfortable with the “storytelling” of product, crafting of a vision that speaks to a customer based on qualitative data and backed by quantitative data + customer insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong sense of ownership and drive, and a collaborative work style.

  • Excellent analytical abilities with experience turning data into actionable insights.

  • High attention to detail and ability to lead priorities simultaneously.

Bonus:

  • Strong understanding of the overall pet care industry and recent trends

  • In depth experience and understanding of the veterinary profession in the US

Hub Locations & Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week

  • Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for an Associate Director (AD) Product Manager position is $156,000.00 - $255,000.00 . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.

We offer different types of insurance, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.

Salaried-exempt Team Members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team Members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team Members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
