Job Overview:
As directed by the Physical Therapist implements Physical therapy treatment in coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Assumes responsibility for assessing, planning and implementing specific treatment for patient to restore function and facilitate development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree or doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy.
New Jersey Occupational Therapy license.
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years clinical experience preferred.
Certifications and Licenses required (if applicable):
BLS Certification Required
American Heart Association
Successful completion of all orientation Programs

Essential Functions:
Provides care to all age groups by patient's age.
Participating in the QI/PI program and Occupational Therapy intern clinical education.
Assists in the supervision of staff on the outpatient service.
Participates in revision and maintenance of policy and procedure/intern manuals.
Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
Collaborates scheduling of outpatient and inpatient caseload in conjunction with supervisor.
Demonstrates compliance with in and out patient billing process.
Demonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member educational needs are.
Directly supervises the clinical work of the technicians and keeps the supervisor and managers informed.
