Phoenix Industrial Services has partnered with a steel Company that is seeking a skilled Stick/Arc Welder to join their team at their Belleville, MI location. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform various types of welding processes including FCAW, plasma cutting, and rigging
• Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder in a construction site setting
• Proficiency in various welding techniques such as FCAW, sheet metal, and ductwork
• Knowledge of mechanical processes and machining
• Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding practices
• Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment effectively

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with rigging operations
• Proficiency in using calipers for precise measurements
